On 7th December I reported taking place in a small way in some research into Christmas crackers and Christmas cards. The results are out today.
The professor behind the research first bought a number of Christmas crackers at various prices and extracted the jokes. Participants were surveyed to discover if they thought any of them funny and to what degree. It can now be confirmed that whether you pay a few pence or a few pounds for your crackers the jokes will be equally bad. What do you call a penguin in the Sahara desert? Answer, Lost. What do you call a woman who stands between two goal posts? Answer. Annette.
Your choice of Christmas card will reveal something about your personality. There is a strong relationship between personality and card type.

Sympathetic, calm and open to new experiences, and with a tendency to prefer one's own company to that of others.
