Autumn Break

We had hoped to get away to Europe by Eurostar this past week but ended up with three days in London and three days at Hindhead in Surrey. Here is a summary of our week. More detail about some aspects may surface in future blogs.

Tuesday

St Martin in the Field after renewal work.

Covent Garden and surrounding area.

'Woman in Black' at Fortune Theatre.

Millenium Bridge and Tate Modern.

'Billy Elliot' at Victoria Palace.

Wednesday

Manormead Pension Board Scheme at Hindhead, Surrey.

Tour of complex/ meetings with managers and residents.

Thursday

Grayshott 'On the trail of Flora Thompson'.

Manormead Nursing Home - tour/conversation with matron.

Beacon Hill church, shops, woods.

Friday

Haslelmere and Hindhead.

Farnham.

Saturday

Manormead to Scarborough arriving 16.30.
