The new primate of Nigeria Archbishop Nicholas Okoh has warned that Muslims are mass-producing children to take over Africa and are set on domination of the continent.
He said this when he preached at Nick Wynne-Jones' church in Beckenham in July, the day before he attended the launch of the Fellowship of Confessing Anglicans at Central Hall, representing his primate, Dr Peter Akinola. The Archbishop of Abuja then relinquished his role as one of the most important Archbishops after Cantuar, leading the Anglican province in Nigeria with its 17 million practising adherents. Last week, Archbishop Okoh was elected as his successor. Wynne-Jones' secretary spent many hours transcribing on my behalf the long sermon he preached that day, as a result of which I was able to write my story in today's paper which is being widely followed and getting thousands of hits online. There are some phrases she couldn't quite make out, hence the occasional '?', but I thought readers here would like to see the full transcript so have reproduced it below. No MP3 is available, sadly, as spool tapes were used.
Archbishop Okoh preached on Jude 3: “Contend for the faith”.
