Lovely sunny day today here in Scarborough. Pity daughter and husband didn't make it. They turned round and went back to Bradford after long traffic delays near York. Of course, number of half term trippers to the sea and sun probably also would be involved.
Crash causes delays near York

MOTORISTS endured rush hour chaos on the A64 on the outskirts of York today, after two vehicles collided.
The accident happened at about 8.20am outside the Tanglewood Restaurant, between Towthorpe Moor Lane and Hopgrove roundabout on the York Outer Ring Road. It involved a blue Ford Galaxy and a blue Renault Megane. One went into the back of the other. Neither woman driver was reported to be seriously injured.
The crash led to long queues building up on the York Outer Ring Road between Hopgrove and Grimston Bar roundabouts and the A64 heading into York from Malton
